This hydroponic unit is very nicely designed and is extremely easy to clean. The pump provides good water circulation for good nutrient mixing and root development. The unit also has a lot of included port covers for nice spacing. I’ve been able to grow various lettuces and greens as well as more intense flowering plants like cucumber and tomatoes. It comes with a nice wifi feature that withstands power outages, meaning if the power goes out and comes back on it will pick up the settings and time where it left off!! I loved this unit so much I bought another one. If I ever need a third, I will be back again.
This hydroponic unit is not only nice to look at it is well built and comes with an awesome WiFi feature that can be controlled by an app. If the power goes out, when it comes back on the timer and all of the settings come back without needed to be set up again. I’ve grown lots of greens and even bigger plants like cucumbers on this unit. It comes with a lot of nice accessories like hole covers (nice to keep a healthy space between plants). Bonus, it’s super easy to clean in between planting.
I purchased a spider farmer on December 2024, unfortunately on August 2025 my unit started having issues. Working with support and there engineers, they have decided It is a faulty light or power supply. Support was extremely helpful in getting me taken care of, my replacement is being sent.
As far as the unit itself, I really like the fact I can grow cherry tomatoes and other things indoors, especially nice in the winter to have a fresh salad, one thing I love with the unit other than growing healthy food, is the fact the bowl comes off easily for cleaning/restarting, and the fact I can control it with a app, makes it easy for me with limited mobility. Excitedly awaiting my replacement so I can get back to growing.

Lover the smartG12 when it was working. But now that it is not there awesome customer service is making sure are plants won’t die. Thanks again
