I’m a new grower. And like most new growers, I was recommended spider farmer and mars hydro lights.
After doing many hours of watching YouTube videos and scrolling through groups and forums I went with the sf2000.
What sold me on it was how thin the board is and the Samsung diode. Space for me is a issue. So I went with the sf2000.
Current on my second run with this light. My first run came out great considering it was my first.
My second is going so much better now that I have figured out the sweet spot to turn my dimmer to in veg.

I am a new grower and like most new growers I was recommended spider farmer and Mars hydro.. After many hours of YouTube videos and scrolling through forums and Facebook groups. I decided to go with spider farmer.
The reason I went with them was how low profile their light was. And space is a factor for me. Also the Samsung diodes are just better than what Mars hydro has in the same price range.
My 1st run came out pretty good considering it was my 1st. It had more to do with with the way I was feeding and and training techniques more than the light.
My 2nd run is coming out so much better. I have figured out where my plants like the light dimmed to and height. They are now thriving on this second run.
The sf2000 is still performing like new 5 months later
You can’t go wrong with the sf2000. I plan on expanding eventually to the se5000 myself.

I first picked the SF2000 last year after watching mr.canucks on YouTube. I was absolutely amazed by the plants he was growing under it. I placed the order and it arrived in just a few days! It was well packaged and I was happy with how sturdy and durable it is, feels very well made. The dimmer light is so incredibly useful because you can use the light on your smallest plants without hurting them! I could not recommend this light more! It fits perfectly in a 2×4 tent, it is energy efficient, it is capable of giving high end results and returns! I love it! I have since purchased a second SF2000 for my other closet!

I would like to say the Sf2000 has done an outstanding job this run, she is in a 3x3x72 tent. She is overseeing a beautiful lady that she has brought into flower and is counting down the days to harvest. I cannot wait to update to the newer se lights that have come out. I would then eliminate my Mars hydro lights I have in the other tents. Hats off to spiderfarmer, they go above and beyond for the customer. I prefer there products over any else. Can get some nice yield off these lights. Anyone who is asking about light recommendations in the many groups I am involved in is directed to spiderfarmer. Heres another pic of a lady under the sf2000, like I’ve said, the light is amazing overall. Easy to adjust the height to desired setting as well as being able to control the light intensity with the dimmer knob. Hoping to upgrade to one of the newer Spiderfarmer Se lights to eliminate the 2 mars hydro ts3000 out of my lineup. Was going to try asking for one as a birthday gift 09/15 from my wife, but things came up. So I will wait patiently.I wanna go strictly all spiderfarme

Here is another picture that the sf2000 is currently helping bring to harvest. Its very cost friendly as well as being nice to your utility bill. Dont even hardly see a difference while running these beauties. The diodes on these lights are amazing as well.

Listen to your Uncle Tony on this one. I did the usual thing like most of you. I’m a newb and though I’d buy the what I though were great lights on amazon with false wattage etc. I did one grow thought it was great except for the high heat, heavy weight, and poor performance of the “great value” lights, I tossed them on the ground and said f it, I decided on my 2nd I would invest a little extra cash to see if there was a difference. Fuggataboutit I can say hands down these lights are amazing. 1st I dropped my tent temp 10 degrees which is huge. My coverage has doubled, heat is almost non existent, and the dimmers have been a blessing controlling my early growth to the flowering stage. I bought 2 SPF2000 for my 8×4 nervous they may not be enough. I only have one regret I didn’t but them sooner. My new grow is out of control and I blame SF. My autos are shining like diamonds, my photos are huge full and healthy. The difference is night and day from my first grow. People the lights you buy from Amazon are cheap for a reason they suck. The SF2000’s have been a blessing. My yield on this round has tripled, and I haven’t even begun to flower my photos. Don’t dick around buy the Spiderfarm lights they will get you a better yield quality and maybe even partial blindness if you aren’t careful 😂. I won’t grow without them ever again. I’m a simple home grower for personal use. Again listen to Uncle Tony buy the lights and reap the rewards, thank you for your excellent product. As advertised or better 🤘

The light has a simple, polished design. No need to assemble. The aluminum board is thick and sturdy. It gets hot to the touch, but its much cooler than other techs. Rubbery coating reduces risk from splashes. The driver is solidly fixed in place, resulting in a solid unit.
No power is wasted on fans or inefficient drivers. And the Samsung diodes offer a high efficacy rating of 2.7 umol/J. I like the blend of LED colors. Some quantum boards only have a single color for all diodes. Compared to them, this LED has a more complete spectrum.
The 202w SF2000 could replace a 400w HID. Magnetic vs electronic ballasts vs doubled ended HPS systems all have different rates of efficiency. So it depends on the type of HID and its specs. I’ve recently compared this light to a brand name Quantum Board by HLG. Two of these SF-2000s would produce almost the same amount of light for HUNDREDS of dollars less. Or you could even buy THREE of these for that much money and your light output would greatly exceed the HLG unit.
This light is a huge a step above DIY set ups. The Spider Farmer LEDs are better than many other quantum LEDs sold on Amazon. Three year warranty sounds great. Seller includes contact info to get in touch as needed. But hopefully I won’t need to!
CONS:
Because there’s no external switch, the dimming option is not convenient for frequent on-the-fly changes.

Ran a sf2000 at 18 on 6 off and one would think it never went off dense flowers no noise didn’t affect my environment much. Ran the same set up wit a different light and I’m sorry I did that! Got caught in the web and spider farmer was the catch. Good product.

Will never buy another light. High quality lights with great customer service. I’ve used them on cannabis with great results, they run cool so there’s no need for additional cooling, with even light dispersment throughout the tent. I loved them for cannabis so much I purchased one for my houseplants. The dimmable feature is so valuable. It’s a very natural shade of light that makes it great for living areas. My plants flourish as much during summer outside as they do indoors over the winter.

I will never buy another brand of lights. I’ve grown cannabis with great results. The lights have great light dispersement, and run cool so there’s no need for additional cooling and temperature control. I loved them so much I ordered an additional light for my houseplants. They have thrived as much indoors as they do outdoors during the summer. The dimming feature is great, along with being able to daisy chain on the same level. The light is a natural sunlight tone which is so important for using in a living area.

I got the sf2000 2 years ago and its still going strong. Its a great light that will get you from seed to harvest nicely in a 3×3 or a 2×4. I would recommend it to anyone.

1. Quality – Samsung chips (“Diodes”) are technically the best chips product available on the current market. “Mean Well” – high-quality driver.
2. Price – Affordable price even though there are cheaper variations from different brands too, Samsung chips and driver mentioned above are as much essential as it’s not worth making a small economy on the lights that serve for years.
3. Compatibility – Size; weight and installation easily manageable. Extremely compact diodes are directly attached to a thin aluminum layer. Because of this, the weight is extremely light and comes in compact sizes. In case of relocation, you simply attaché the driver upon the layer and hang it in the box. No reflections or coolers are required, which is typical for HPS/ Sodium lights. So, no heat-related problem in the box for you.
4. Power use – Only 200W is compatible, which is great for a long-term economy compared to HPS/ Sodium lights.
5. Results – As for the plant growth and results: vegetation and blooming processes are the most magical and plentiful. No need to change or add lights during blooming, because it has a full spectrum.
I used to own Spider farmer but accidentally broke it. Probably the biggest loss of my life. The highest quality product; no regrets. Sincerely recommended.

Let me tell yah, from going from a 600w hps setup to 2 of these sf2000. I’ve got a happy 4×4 tent setup with aloe vera , basil, Wheatgrass and snap peas and cannabis and everything is filling out nicely and stretching twords the light. Temps stay at around 75°F. Love the daisy chain effect and only having to turn the one dimmer switch for both lights. Developed rock hard but structures and kept my light bill cheaper than my last setup. Definitely looking forward to an upgrade to the se series with next year’s income taxes. Will be trying out a new 3×3 tent setup for next year.

I may be the only one here who uses the Spider Farmer 2000 to grow only food! 😉 Set up in the kitchen with a box shade for eye safety, this amazing light keeps our family eating salad greens all winter long. We grow several kinds of lettuce, as well as kale, basil, rosemary, thyme, chives, mint, microgreens, broccoli & sunflower sprouts, etc. All healthy and yummy.
